chennai 01 Dec : choolai is located in egmore constituency , kalathiappa street is a famous street in choolai . In this street when ever the rain starts to pour the water will still stand by like a drainage river in the street , no remedies were done by the chennai corporation officers right till now to stop this
Residents of the street says that we are living in the street for several years not even a single step action were taken by the corporation officers to dry out the rain water without logging several times power cuts
The residents also complain that this water logging does not causing problem now only but continuing more than 60 years
2500 citizens and 4 schools are stood in the street on each and every rain season this problem occurring constantly in kalathiappa street how the school childrens will attend the school is a question mark
The residents want the corporation officers to take a necessary process to stop this
